Tuesday, August 13, 2024 New York, NY – August 13, 2024 – The Times Square Alliance is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated return of its Annual Taste of Times Square, one of the city’s most iconic outdoor food festivals, set to take place on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 5 pm to 9 pm. This marks the festival’s first appearance since 2019. The event will showcase the district’s diverse culinary offerings, with more than 30 restaurants participating, featuring a wide array of cuisines including Mexican, Caribbean, Argentinian, Italian, Indian, American, and more.
For the first time since 2011, the event will be held at Duffy Square and the Broadway Plazas between 45th and 48th Streets, bringing the vibrant side street dining scene into the heart of Times Square. This year’s festival also serves as the kickoff for a month-long celebration of Times Square’s dining scene, with special “happiest hour” promotions available at participating restaurants after 8 pm, coinciding with Broadway’s peak hours. Attendees will have the opportunity to register a wristband with their credit or debit card at the event, allowing them to purchase “tastes” from participating restaurants. Each “taste” will be priced under $10, with most ranging between $3 and $6.
