Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart is just as famous for his brilliant wrestling skills and the Moniker “Excellence of Execution” as he is for the ‘ Montreal Screwjob ’, that he went through at Survivor Series in 1997. Bret is still bitter about it and keeps reminiscing about the incident, at any given chance. Now, in an interview with the ‘Attitude Era Podcast’, The Hitman has once again opened up about that incident and remembers the punch he threw at Vince McMahon and the other people he wanted to knock out after the episode.

He made the referee ring the bell as soon as Shawn Michaels would hit the ‘ Sharpshooter ’ on Bret, even though he had not tapped out at all. Talking about the incident, Hart said that there were a million other things that could have been done about it, rather than screwing him.

“I always hear this crap, like the Undertaker said a few days ago, ‘They had to do whatever they were gonna do, because there was no other option.’ Bull**** , I had another 6 weeks left on my contract. There was a million things that could have been done.

It was a case of liars and cheaters and backstabbers and guys that made that moment happen. Shawn, Triple H, Vince McMahon. I wish I knocked them all out.

I have no regrets” said Bret, talking about his wish to knock everyone out who was involved in the screw up. He also recollected the moment he knocked McMahon out at the backstage area, after Bret spit on him right after the match. Bret stated “I can't believe Vince Mcmahon's gonna actually confront me.

We walked up to each other and locked up like a wrestling match, and I knocked him out with one punch. It was the greatest punch I ever threw. Absolutely beautiful uppercut.

I lifted him up about a foot off the ground, broke my hand, but it was the sweetest punch I ever threw. I wouldn't change anything about it. Vince Mcmahon can rot in hell”, remembering the time he punched McMahon and wanted to punch all the others involved in the episode.

The "Incident" in Montreal - Survivor Series Clearly, the former WWE and WCW World Champion is full of remorse and regrets about his partnership with McMahon and still feels no love lost between him and WWE. He is also often heard speaking about the incident which ended his career with Goldberg, where a mishap led to an injury to Hitman and finished his career, in 1999..
