HAVE you ever wondered why your hair is starting to thin despite not changing anything to your beauty routine? In the past week UK Google searches for 'reasons for hair loss in women' and 'exosomes for hair loss' have increased by 70 per cent. There could be many health reasons to it so it is always best to go to a doctor to be sure. But one hair expert has suggested it could be something to do with your daily routine and is very simple to change.

Here, Trichologist Tiffany Hall explains five lifestyle choices that could be causing weak hair bonds. A lack of essential vitamins and minerals, such as vitamins D, E, and B-complex, and minerals like iron and zinc, can weaken hair structure and lead to increased hair breakage. These nutrients are vital for maintaining the health of hair follicles and the integrity of hair bonds.

Hairstyles that pull tightly on the hair, such as ponytails, braids, or buns, can cause tension and stress on the hair follicles. This can lead to traction alopecia and weaken the bonds within the hair, making it more prone to breakage. Repeatedly getting your hair caught in bag handles can cause mechanical damage.

This pulling and tugging action stresses the hair strands, leading to breakage and weakening of the hair bonds over time. Regular use of high-heat styling tools like blow dryers, straighteners, and curling irons can break down the protein structure of hair, weakening its bonds. The heat can strip hair of its natural moisture, leading to dryness and increased fragility.

Chemical treatments such as bleaching, perming, and relaxing alter the natural structure of hair bonds to achieve a certain look. These processes can significantly weaken the hair shaft, making it more susceptible to breakage and damage. By being mindful of these factors, you can take steps to protect your hair and maintain stronger hair bonds.

Adjusting your diet, being cautious with hair around bag handles, opting for looser hairstyles, moderating heat styling, and limiting chemical treatments can all contribute to healthier hair. If you are worried about hair strength, thinning, or loss, you might want to consider an E-50 Exosomes hair treatment. Exosomes contribute to maintaining and preventing hair loss by promoting hair follicle growth, increasing cell proliferation, enhancing hair follicle health, reducing inflammation, oxidative stress, and promoting cell survival.

We can lose between 50 and 100 hairs a day, according to the NHS. It is not usually something to worry about, but occasional it can be a sign of a medical concern. These include illness, stress, cancer treatment, weight loss and iron deficiency.

The NHS advises to book an appointment with your GP to see if you can get to the cause of it. Experts at American Academy of Dermatology Association also recommend to eat healthy, limit curling irons and only use them for special occasions. They also recommend using a gentle shampoo, and make use of leave-in conditioners.

Additionally, exosomes play a crucial role in strengthening hair bonds by delivering growth factors and signalling molecules directly to the hair follicles, which enhances the structural integrity and elasticity of the hair. They also support the regeneration of damaged hair follicles and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, further improving the resilience and strength of the hair shaft. Furthermore, exosomes help to balance the scalp’s microenvironment, ensuring optimal conditions for hair growth and reducing the likelihood of hair thinning and breakage.
