Listen to Story Netflix has pulled off the biggest casting coup by bringing together actors Bhumi Pednekar, Ishaan Khatter, Zeenat Aman, Chunky Panday, Sakshi Tanwar, Dino Morea, and Milind Soman in the regal romance 'The Royals'. The streaming giant announced the show on Wednesday, August 14, and shared its teaser on social media. The show marks the web series debut of Bollywood actor Bhumi Pednekar, who started her journey in Hindi cinema with the superhit 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha'.
The teaser of The Royals begins with Ishaan dressed in a royal avatar. Soon we see shots of Ishaan and Bhumi dancing together and sharing glances. Through the teaser, the makers have only introduced the cast and the royal setup of the show.
It is a blend of romance, desire, ambition, and the allure of royalty. The official logline of 'The Royals' reads, "When an entitled Prince Charming meets a startup whiz, it's inevitable that they will bump heads! Will their ambitions collide, two worlds clash, or even spark a surprising romance? From palace gates to boardroom debates, The Royals marks the first collaboration between Netflix and Pritish Nandy Communications." Speaking about 'The Royals', Tanya Bami, Series Head at Netflix India, said, "Everybody loves a good romance.
The Royals is a modern-day regal romance with a spectacular setting and a dazzling cast.
