Magazine, Newquay in Cornwall is one of the worst UK seaside towns in the UK even though it is home to the famous Fristal beach. Newquay is at the heart of Cornwall, a well loved summer destination in England, it offers surfing and some of England’s best beaches - but it was recently ranked 102 out of 125 selected beaches in Britain after a survey analysed its beach, food, scenery, attractions and value for money. Despite the snub, Time Out have called the seaside town "one of Cornwall’s most sought after summer destinations".

Cornwall’s famous Fristal beach is much loved among travellers, as one visitor wrote on TripAdvisor: “I’ve been coming to this beach for years and have always loved it! "The vibes on this beach are unreal, surrounded by surfers, bars and camper vans. Every visit to this beach has been amazing. It’s dog friendly and the safety flags are always out for people in the sea so it feels very safe.

"The bars are right on the beach and are lovely to sit at in the evenings. There are also surfing lessons on this beach and I highly recommend it for families and people looking to give surfing a go.” Trending The town is also home to Boadmasters festival which runs every second weekend of August annually and brings around 53,000 people to Newquay.
