Sunday, November 10, 2024 The Philippines is gearing up to host the Seatrade Cruise Asia 2024 in Taguig City from November 11 to 13, marking a significant step in the nation’s expansion as a premier cruise destination in Asia. Organized by the Department of Tourism (DOT), the event will be held at Shangri-La The Fort and will bring together over 350 key industry players, including cruise line executives, itinerary planners, port agents, and tourism authorities from around the world. Seatrade Cruise Asia, a prominent gathering for the cruise industry, will be co-located with Seatrade Maritime Crew Connect Global, a leading event for maritime crewing and seafarer welfare.

This dual-event platform underscores the Philippines’ rising influence in cruise tourism and its dedication to advancing sustainable growth in the maritime and cruise sectors. “Hosting Seatrade Cruise Asia 2024 underscores the Philippines’ readiness and capability to lead in cruise tourism,” said Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco. “Our archipelago’s vibrant culture, exceptional hospitality, and breathtaking natural attractions make us an ideal destination for international cruise lines and travelers.
