Warning - this article contains spoilers for The Penguin The Penguin has reached its dramatic conclusion this weekend - but many will be wondering whether Batman appears in the spin-off. Fans will have seen Oz Cobb (Colin Farrell) rise to become a big player in Gotham's criminal underworld thanks to hijacking the growth and distribution of drug Bliss. Oz's actions triggered a violent drug war in Gotham and betray two of the city's biggest crime families.

Sofia Falcone (Cristin Milioti) and Salvatore Maroni (Clancy Brown) teamed up to take down his drug empire and kill Oz - but Sal died from a heart attack and Sofia's car bomb takes out Oz's crew and operation. In the series finale 'A Great or Little Thing', Oz Cobb is dragged away by a corrupt police officer to be interrogated and threatened by Sofia who still has his mother Francis (Deirdre O’Connell) Despite being stabbed, Oz escaped with his poorly mother and managed to turn the tables in horrific and chilling fashion against Sofia and even his allies. While The Penguin has been heavily acclaimed by Batman fans, many have wondered if Batman appears in the series.



Does Batman appear in The Penguin? The Batman does not physically appear in The Penguin, but we do get a glimpse of the famous Bat-Signal in the finale episode 'A Great or Little Thing'. Oz Cobb enters his luxury penthouse and it's revealed he took his mother, who is now in a vegetative state, to his luxury penthouse. The chilling reveal sees Francis cry in fear.
