Nestled in the Eastern Ghats, Vanjangi in Andhra Pradesh provides a truly magical escape. The views are stunning and the atmosphere was incredibly peaceful. The small hill station is now gaining popularity and becoming a favorite spot for those who love both nature and adventure.

If you want to witness the magical sunset here, it is best seen during the winter months from December to January. Somewhere between 5am and 6am, when the sun rises, the scene becomes surreal as a blanket of clouds slowly reveal the first rays of the sun. The temperature during winter drops to 15 degrees Celsius, making it pleasant to be outdoor and experience the phenomenon in all of its glory.



The best bit? It remains untouched. The beauty of the Vanjangi hills was something unheard of until a few years ago. The place shot to fame after trekkers and nature lovers, shared their experience on social media.

And, now travel enthusiasts are slowly making the destination popular. Also, there were reports of The Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA)initiating a plan to build a blacktop road to Vanjangi. ITDA Project Officer V Abhishek, accompanied by engineers from the tribal welfare department, recently inspected the hill area and directed them to complete the road construction.

The ITDA has decided to allocate Rs 2.5 crore for constructing a blacktop road from Vanjangi village to the viewpoint. The existing narrow road is plagued with potholes, which makes the journey quite challenging.
