Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, their daughter Amber, and son-in-law Nathan Kistler were en route to a concert with pilot Larry Haynie, his wife Melissa, and the family's assistant Melodi Hodges when their plane crashed over Wyoming, . The Nelons had posted about their trip to Alaska for the Gaither Homecoming Cruise, standing in front of their private plane.
They expressed excitement about the journey, mentioning a stop in Nebraska and their next destination, Montana. "There's our wonderful pilot right there, that's Larry," Jason can be heard saying in the video, panning over to Larry before turning to his wife. "And this is the co-pilot who handles everything.
" As they discussed their meal plans, Jason admitted they were "all about the food". Tragically, he ended the video with a promise they couldn't fulfil: "We'll check in later." Grieving fans flooded the comments section with condolences.
