State Rep. Joe Miller will be at The Mermaid’s Tale, 201 Church St. in Amherst, at 1:30 p.
m. Dec. 6 to recognize owner Judy Recknagel and her staff for winning the Pandora Shop in Shop Store of the Year Award, according to a news release.
This award was given to the No. 1 store in the North American market, which encompasses the United States, Canada and all of the Caribbean, the release said. Recknagel is proud to represent the Pandora brand, according to the release.
The award included an all-expense paid trip to Thailand to visit the Pandora factory that was taken in August of this year, the release said. “Congratulations on attaining the prestigious No. 1 position in the Shop in Shop Store of the Year award,” according to Luciano Rodembusch, Pandora general manager and senior vice president, and Detria Courtalis, Pandora vice president of sales, in a letter to Recknagel that was released.
