Wales rugby legend Leigh Halfpenny has married his long-term partner Jess Tumelty in a stunning wedding ceremony. The former British & Irish Lions star - who last week made a surprise move to Harlequins after leaving Super Rugby side Crusaders - tied the knot with Jess at St Catherine's Church in Gorseinon on Saturday, August 3. The happy couple then celebrated surrounded by friends, family and a host of Wales internationals past and present at a lively reception at the spectacular Parc Le Breos House in the heart of the Gower Peninsula, with the celebrations continuing long into the night at the luxury four-star venue.

Jess, who looked stunning in a strapless gown and veil, shared a sweet snap of her hand-in-hand with her new husband on their special day on Instagram, as she wrote: "The Halfpennys. No words, the best day of our lives.
03.08.24" A host of familiar faces were all there to celebrate with the happy couple on the beautiful sunny day, with the likes of Sam Warburton, Taulupe Faletau, James Hook, Gareth Anscombe, Rhys Patchell and Neil Jenkins all in attendance alongside their partners.
Dragons star Dan Lydiate even shared a photo of him reunited with his former back row partners Warburton and Faletau as he declared he was "getting the band back together". After a magical ceremony at the church, there was a real party atmosphere at the reception, with the couple making their entrance to a version of Taylor Swift's Love Story before sharing their first dance under a huge glitterball surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
