Due to its “unique shape”, the town can feel like a bit of a hidden gem for tourists. Something else that makes Primosten so special is its preservation of Mediterranean traditions, including food.
“The originality of Primosten is one of its most important tourist aces,” Croatia Tourism says. The nearest airport to Primosten can be found in Split, which is about an hour’s drive away by car or bus. Direct flights run from London to Spilt and take around two and a half hours.
