Sign up to our free email newsletter to receive the latest breaking news and daily roundups Cambridge University graduate and technology entrepreneur Mike Lynch is still missing more than 30 hours on from the sinking of a luxury yacht off the coast of Sicily. The superyacht capsized at around 5am local time after it was battered by strong storms. Mike Lynch and his daughter Hannah are among six tourists on board that remained missing as the search resumed on Tuesday morning (August 20).
Angela Bacares, Mike Lynch's wife, was one of 15 people rescued from the yacht, and she is now recovering from injuries. Read live updates from the search here. One body, reportedly belonging to the ship's chef, was recovered at the scene.
