Aussie pop sensation The Kid LAROI has divided fans with his performance at the NRL grand final. The Sydney local is an Aria Award-winning, Grammy nominated, chart-topping global superstar who has reached No.1 in America with his worldwide hit Stay.

The 21-year-old grew up in Redfern and is a diehard South Sydney Rabbitohs fan. Entering in all white with ‘WATCH THIS’ printed on the back, he opened with Baby I’m Back before diving into Girls. Fireworks blasted throughout and Accor Stadium lit up as he got the crowd singing along to his famous hit Stay.



He then sang Without You before finishing with a stirring rendition of INXS’ hit Never Tear Us Apart. Smoke billowed on the stage, which was a cause of frustration for many fans. “Welcome to the smoke show, kid laroi can’t even see if your in the stadium,” one said.
