The European Sleeper will make its first journey in February 2025 (Image: Getty Images) A new exciting train route is set to launch in 2025 and connect nine different cities twice a week during the winter months. European Sleeper, a night train service connecting several countries in the continent, is soon set to offer a new service that will take its passengers through many hotspots during a 15-hour trip. As many holidaymakers are planning winter sports holidays, city breaks in enchanting snow-covered cities and a visit to Venice for its yearly Carnival, this new route has been designed to provide more sustainable transport for travellers on these trips.

Chris Engelsman, co-founder of European Sleeper, told Euronews : "Passengers will be able to board our train from Belgium and the Netherlands, and relax in the comfort of the restaurant car, while the train transports them through Germany and Austria, and across the Alps, ending in the historic cities of Verona and Venice the following day.".
