The Inbetweeners reunion could be in the works with all of the original cast, according to one of the show's stars Joe Thomas. Thomas, 40, who played awkward teen Simon in the hit British comedy, told the Always Be Comedy podcast this week that conversations had taken place "in various forms" about a potential reunion over a decade after the last movie aired. "All of us feel it would be nice to do," Thomas said, confirming he's still very good friends with fellow castmates James Buckley (Jay), Simon Bird (Will), and Blake Harrison (Neil). He suggested that another movie might be more likely than another TV series, teasing one idea could be a Bucks' night in Vegas. "We're all still around, we're all still in each other's lives.

We all still like each other. And if it was something that came up, I think we would want to do it," he explained. "I feel like we all still really like each other.

We've all been able to go away and get various monkeys off our backs, in terms of things that we felt we needed to do other than The Inbetweeners to prove something to ourselves." He said there was of course some anxiety over the whether the show would be "as good" as it once was, but judging from the popularity of the last two movies it's fair to say there's still a hunger for the four to unite again. The Inbetweeners told the story of four socially awkward friends navigating their way through adulthood, airing over three seasons from 2008 to 2010.

Thomas even met his wife on the series; Hannah Tointon, who played his on-screen girlfriend Tara. Fans might recall the scene where Tara accidentally vomited in Simon's mouth during Season 3.

While fans are going wild for the possibility of a reunion, it's not the only series that has been teased for a comeback. Scrubs , another popular comedy, has also been teased for a huge return by the show's lead actor Zach Braff. See what he said this week during a Today Extra interview in the video below.

The medical sitcom originally ran from 2001 to 2010, and even 14 years after the season finale people around the globe still flock to re-watch every episode.
