The 61-year-old school administrator was selected back in May as the for it's first season. Joan was a prior contestant on the inaugural The Golden Bachelor with Gerry Turner. She had to leave early because of a medical emergency as her daughter was dealing with postpartum depression.
But now she is getting her second chance at life in the dating reality series that premiered on September 18. A surprise but welcomed contestant by fans is Kelsey Anderson's father, Mark. Mark became a fan-favorite during his introduction in the hometown episode of Joey Graziadei's season.
His daughter won the final rose at the end and is engaged to Joey. Fans were thrumming with excitement for his reveal After all the men have come from the limo with their entrances. Host Jesse Palmer told Joan that there was still one more limo left.
Kelsey comes out in a cut out lime green gown and says she has someone she wants Joan to meet which is her dad. She thought they would get along. Mark came out in his suit and introduces himself to Joan.
