Choreographer Michael McEvoy’s family history is the inspiration behind a new, intimate performance as part of the Belfast International Arts Festival Michael McEvoy, The Gate House Get ready to experience Belfast in a way you never have before, thanks to performances undertaken by a local choreographer and director. The Gate House is inspired by Michael McEvoy’s personal history, as well as that of his father and grandfather, and has been described as an exploration of the past as a means to inspire the future. It’s being performed as part of the Belfast International Arts Festival next month.
