A poll of 2,000 people shows the ideal time to get home for a night in is 5:30pm. That gives you just over an hour until you should be settled down on the sofa by 6:42pm. And what would a night in be without a luxurious soak? According to the researchers, the perfect shower or bath routine lasts an average of 19 minutes, while changing into comfortable clothes, putting on slippers and making a drink are among the first things you should do before settling down.
