Ultimates are one of the best aspects of The First Descendant. We’ve had Ultimate Bunny and Valby so far, and even more are coming soon. A new Ult is planned for Season 2, and we are getting a variant of Freyna in just a matter of weeks.
While she is a fan-favorite within the community, The First Descendant fans all have the same complaint about Ultimate Freyna before she has even come out. There is no update for TFD this week , but you can check out some changes and fixes confirmed to be part of the next patch. As for what else we have to look forward to, Nexon has confirmed multiplayer is on the way for Invasion Dungeons , and we could be getting a lot of Halloween skins judging by a recently resurfaced beta “ vampire skin ” for Gley.
While we cannot wait for multiplayer Invasion Dungeons and, hopefully, an assortment of great Halloween skins, we’re also massively pumped for the impending arrival of Ultimate Freyna. She’s only a few weeks away, but there’s a part of her design fans unanimously dislike. The First Descendant fans want to remove Ultimate Freyna helmet Even though Ultimate Freyna isn’t coming out until October 10th, Nexon has already given The First Descendant community a proper look at her default skin.
They have also stated she will “ not be as easy ” to farm as Ult Valby. The design isn’t terrible as fans like the long white braid, the white leather, and the combination of black and green, which is all very befitting of Freyna’s aesthetic. However, there’s one aspect fans unanimously dislike and that’s the helmet.
Reacting to Ultimate Freyna on Reddit, the community agrees that “Her face is the best part of her basic skin” as “She definitely has the prettiest face in the game”. Because of this, it’s understandable that fans don’t want her face hidden behind an unappealing helmet. Fans had the same complaints with Ultimate Valby, and it’s here again with Freyna.
Fans agree that the “Only ugly thing” about the Ultimate skin is the helmet, which is “Pretty much the same story of almost all the Ultimates”. The community appears unanimous that the helmet should – at the very least – be toggleable. However, there is an understanding that the reason a helmet is forced is because the developers want players to buy different skins and hairstyles.
There are other gripes and observations made about the skin in the Reddit thread, but they cannot be repeated here for obvious reasons upon reading. It is a shame that helmets are not toggleable as it is undoubtedly the worst part about the skin, but, again, it seems purposeful to make players fork over cash for skins.
