The Finals has been around since its launch late last year, and it has mostly been a blast. The first two chapters were fantastic, while the third chapter happening right now has been quite underwhelming. Fortunately, the fourth chapter is less than a month away, and hopefully it will breathe life into the game once more.

The developer was at Gamescom, and they announced playtests for Arc Raiders later this year, and they also confirmed that Arc Raiders will no longer be free-to-play when it eventually launches in 2025.
As for The Finals, update 3.10.0 is their most recent patch, but a new update is expected very soon.
While Arc Raiders is something to look forward to in just a couple of months, in September we will get the release of The Finals Season 4. Only a few details are known about the upcoming chapter so far, and fans are hoping it will be a return to the quality that was present throughout seasons 1 and 2. The Finals Season 4 release date The release date for The Finals Season 4 is currently September 25th .
This comes courtesy of the in-game countdown that shows when the Season 3 battle pass will end. It’s possible a delay or change could occur, but the pencilled in release date right now is just less than a month away. Unfortunately, we don’t know the theme of the upcoming chapter yet, and there have been no hints as to where Embark is taking the game.
Similar to seasons 2 and 3, there will be a new map combined with new weapons and gadgets exclusive to each of the three classes. As for what has leaked for classes, Embark Rob has posted on Discord that the developer is trying to get facial hair as a new customization option for the start of S4. In addition to the above, Rob has also posted that there are at least four new OST tracks for Season 4 .
Rob has said that he really wants to leak them, which leads to the assumption that they are amazing. Lastly, although no new weapons have leaked for S4 yet, Embark Rob has teased that their go to weapon is one of the “S4 weapons for sure”. In addition to all of the above, on the game’s Discord it’s been alluded that Cashout will return to Ranked.
One of the biggest gripes with Season 3 has been Terminal Attack taking the spot of Ranked, so hopefully Cashout does return as has been suggested. Embark removed the mode so they could make changes, and alterations have been delivered in a couple of patches during Season 3. Lastly, we know that Season 4 will be at San Diego TwitchCon on September 20th.
