The Finals Season 3 has been underwhelming. It got off to a bumpy start with Terminal Attack replacing Cashout for Ranked, and since then it has been frequently disappointing with with several minor updates, lack of community events, and poor balance changes. Fortunately, Season 3 is coming to an end next month, and The Finals dev has teased amazing Season 4 additions they really want to leak .

While a lot of the patch has been well received, many fans are frustrated that a great gadget has been absolutely “murdered” and “gutted” with the Light class still yet to receive any nerfs at all. In addition, the devs were just at Gamescom 2024, and they have announced playtests for Arc Raiders , their other upcoming free-to-play multiplayer shooter. There’s still a month remaining for The Finals Season 3, but we can all look forward to Season 4 arriving in September.
Details are slim as of writing, but Embark has teased that the OST will sound amazing. The Finals dev teases amazing Season 4 additions On The Finals Discord, Embark Rob has teased that there will at least be four tracks part of the Season 4 OST. Not only that, but they basically teased that the upcoming themes are amazing.
Rob posted, “no I would NEVER leak...
but I listened to 4 tracks from the S4 OST today...
AND OHH MY...
I really wanted to leak these tracks.!!”. Music has been a fantastic part of The Finals since day one, and the OST is also representative of the current season’s theme.
The Season 3 OST was leaked before the chapter’s grand reveal, and this allowed fans to accurately predict a Japanese setting. It will be interesting if the same happens for Season 4 to allow fans to predict the new setting. In addition to a great OST, Rob has previously teased other additions for Season 4.
Rob, who has previously claimed to be a Heavy main, has teased that their “go to to heavy weapon” is from the new “S4 weapons for sure”. Along with the above, Rob has also previously suggested that Iseul-T should return in Season 4 for those who previously missed out. Lastly, Rob also ‘leaked’ a new customization option for classes that will allow you to add facial hair to your character.
