The Finals has been a lot of fun since its full release at the end of last year, but it’s not the only game Embark has been cooking. It’s confirmed that The Finals developer will be part of Gamescom 2024, and they are hyping an appearance from their highly-anticipated new free-to-play multiplayer game that will hopefully come out this year. In the world of The Finals, Embark has warned players they are in danger of missing out on a skin reward that is set to expire very soon.
Fans can also earn up to 500 Multibucks for free by referring friends to the game, and the developer has leaked a new customization option set to arrive in Season 4. Season 4 is currently pegged for September, and hopefully it’ll be a return to form following the so far disappointing Season 3. While we cannot wait for Season 4 to arrive, we’re also extremely hopeful that Embark’s other free-to-play multiplayer game will come out before the end of 2024.
The Finals developer will present Arc Raiders at Gamescom 2024 The Finals developer, Embark, has begun teasing they will be at Gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live. It’s possible we could see more of The Finals, but the developer is instead teasing an appearance from their other highly-anticipated game, Arc Raiders. On the official ArcRaidersGame Twitter account, the developer posted a very short teaser telling fans to “Tune into Gamescom Opening Night Live tomorrow”.

Embark hasn’t confirmed what we will see of Arc Raiders, but it’s expected that there will a new trailer. Fans are also speculating that there could be a release date/window, while the most optimistic of fans are anticipating a shadow drop.
It’s possible we could also be given a release date for later this year with the launch of open betas for consoles and PC. If you’ve never heard of Arc Raiders, it’s a free-to-play PvPvE extraction shooter set to launch on PS5, Xbox, and PC. It is developed by Embark, the folks responsible for The Finals, and it is massively anticipated.
It was revealed all the way back in 2021, and the last we heard and saw of the game was a closed alpha back in June 2023. A new trailer is pretty much guaranteed, but we’re extremely hopeful for a release date and open betas for console and PC.
