20, which now extends into 2025. The legendary American rock group is the latest to play concerts at the venue, following the likes of U2, Phish , and Dead & Company. Tickets for the Eagles ‘ highly anticipated 20-date concert run went on sale earlier this summer, with the band recently adding more dates due to popular demand.
Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, Deacon Frey, and Vince Gill will play the scheduled dates throughout the fall and wintertime. On the opening night of their Sphere residency, the Eagles played “Heartache Tonight” during their set and dedicated it to late singer-songwriter J.
D. Souther , who died on Sept. 18.
“I want to acknowledge the co-writer of that song who we lost three days ago, Mr. J.D.
Souther,” Don Henley said during the show. “J.D.
is someone you may know played a pivotal role in the Eagles. He wasn’t in the band but he certainly co-wrote some of our biggest hits.” Many VIP packages and general admission tickets for the band’s initial run of dates at the new Sin City venue have largely sold out, though some seats still appear to be available on Ticketmaster .
At the end of June, the group announced that they were adding four new shows to the V.
