W hen you meet Rodman Primack and Rudy Weissenberg, the duo behind the design firm Ago Projects, it’s easy to get sidetracked. They are masters of interesting conversation, peppered with many an amusing anecdote. But don’t be fooled, their contributions to the world of design are no laughing matter.
They’ve managed to thread together elements of high art, local crafts and interiors in a way that feels truly liveable and glamorous, an aesthetic they unpack in their newly released book Love How You Live: Adventures in Interior Design. Weissenberg and Primack have been a couple for over twenty years, and they’ve been working together on creative endeavours for nearly as long. Recently the pair cemented their professional relationship in the form of Ago Projects, an interior design firm as well as an online marketplace for unique, locally sourced piecs.
Primack was previously chairman at Phillips Auction house in London, then the Gagosian Gallery in Beverly Hills, and later became the executive director of Design Miami. He then founded his own interiors firm, RP Miller. Weissenberg started his career as a TV producer and exhibition curator before joining Primack on Ago Projects.
