The Bolton News Business Awards are back for 2024 and we’re shining a spotlight on this year's sponsors. The event, which this year has Bolton Council and Leisure Guard Security as headline sponsors, will take place on Friday, September 20 in the Premier Suite at the Toughsheet Community Stadium. The awards celebrate achievement and highlight successful and innovative companies doing fantastic things in the Bolton area.

Today, we're looking at The Beaumont Hospital . Executive director David Pearson answers our questions. (Image: Newsquest) What inspired your Business to sponsor The Bolton News Business Awards this year? Whether it's treating patients or supporting charities and organisations in the community to help others, we feel the commitment we make is the same.

As a proud member of the local business and healthcare community, we wanted to support and celebrate organisations like us who are passionate about the people and communities they serve. How does sponsoring these awards align with your company's values and objectives? Circle Health Group's values are what underpins everything we do as a hospital. They talk about compassion, and supporting our communities, people and patients.

To us sponsoring The Bolton News Business Awards is a way to make good on those promises and celebrate the incredible people, organisations and businesses that make our community. What specific outcomes or benefits are you hoping to achieve through your sponsorship? Circle Health Group and The Beaumont Hospital are proud of the community footprint we have across the UK. Supporting the awards in this capacity is a great way to show how aligned we are with our business community peers.

Why do you believe it is important to support these awards and continue highlighting Bolton and what its businesses have to offer? Bolton is an incredible place to live and work. We have been treating and supporting patients for over 40 years, in addition to building valued partnerships with our colleagues in the NHS during the pandemic. Moreover, we've supported a number of apprentices to kick-start careers in healthcare or to take on new skills.

Supporting these awards makes sure that the valuable work organisations do across our community is highlighted and celebrated. What led your company to choose to sponsor the well-being particular category? As a hospital, we know firsthand how important well-being is to a person's quality of life. The category looks for a business that is innovative, collaborative, creative and believes in its people.

These are values that we share and through our own 'Well-being Wednesdays' and wider Circle Health Group initiatives have been championing well-being at every level of the organisation. This is an award that we feel closely aligns with who we are as a community-focused hospital. We will continue to provide the high quality, safe and compassionate care our patients expect and need - whether that is for patients who choose to self-pay, are insured or treated under the NHS.

We are proud to continue working in partnership with our local NHS trust to support and deliver health equality across the locality to ensure more patients are seen and receive the care they need. And we are currently embarking on a programme of refurbishment and expansion at our hospital site, which is only a small part of the investment into the hospital as we continue in our aims to improve our services and put our patients first. Could you share any recent projects or successes that your company is proud of? Circle Health Group, has been recognised for a fourth consecutive year as the UK's 'Private Hospital Group of the Year' by HealthInvestor.

Moreover, we have been officially recognised as an outstanding company to work for and among the top five health and social care businesses to work for. We are proud to be recognised for the commitment we make to our patients in Bolton and across the UK. We have recently celebrated hitting a patient satisfaction score of over 900 on Reputation, which was a huge achievement for the hospital.

A score of over 800 is a recognition of 'best-in-class', so to have hit more than 900 was a wonderful acknowledgement from our patients. If you'd like to buy tickets for the awards, visit https://store.newsquest.
