' The Buckingham Murders ' saw Kareena play a detective who has been asked to investigate a child’s murder while she is grieving the loss of her own child. Kareena knew the dynamics of the story and hence stepped in as the producer of the film along with Ektaa R Kapoor. The film went on to mint Rs 7.
65 crore in the first week and even had a good second weekend where it added another Rs 1.55 crore to its kitty. But over the weekdays the film was able to earn only Rs 43 lakh, averaging Rs 10 lakh per day.
Thus, taking the second week total to Rs 1.98 crore and overall collection of the film to Rs 9.63 crore.
The film will go down in history as one of the lowest performing films of Kareena’s career.
