Opening weekend of The Big E in West Springfield was filled with beautiful days of sunshine. But rain could be putting a damper on a few days of the fair this week. There is a chance of rain Wednesday after 2 p.

m., according to the National Weather Service . However, as of Monday morning, chances for rain later in the week remain low at 30%.



There’s another chance for rain on Thursday. Chances are slightly higher at 40%. The rain is expected to clear up by Friday, leaving the day cloudy and a high of 75.
