In the historic centre of Znojmo resides Enotéka, a wine bar with a designer café.
Located on the grounds of the Znojmo brewery, which offers breathtaking views of the town and Dyje river valley, visitors can enjoy over 120 samples of local wines from leading winemakers in the region for as little as 50p. However, Znojmo is more than just wine. The town features an intricate labyrinth of tunnels below the town centre known as the “underground passages”.
Visitors can partake in a 60-minute guided tour, learning about the history of the town and its tunnels, which have sparked various theories about their existence. Some believe they once served as storage spaces and a means of transporting goods, while others think the passageways were used as hiding places from enemies.
