Monday, September 9, 2024 The Abbey Resort & Avani Spa is excited to welcome Noah Gumustekin as the new Executive Chef at Lake Geneva’s premier lakeside full-service resort. “Cultures all around the world love food,” said Noah Gumustekin , newly named Executive Chef at The Abbey Resort & Avani Spa. “Food brings people together, whether it’s for big family meals like Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas, or weekend barbecues.

As a chef, I’m looking forward to creating memorable moments in people’s lives.” Noah Gumustekin steps into a pivotal role as the culinary mastermind at The Abbey Resort & Avani Spa, where he will be at the helm of the resort’s entire food operation. His responsibilities will encompass crafting seasonal menus with locally sourced ingredients for the resort’s laid-back lakeside eateries—Waterfront Restaurant, Gazebo Grille, and Cafe Latte—as well as designing health-conscious options for the renowned Avani Spa, managing all in-room dining, and coordinating culinary aspects of banquet events.



His culinary leadership will extend to guiding a team of around 40 professionals at 240 West, the resort’s flagship dining venue. Bringing over two decades of international culinary experience, Chef Noah has earned multiple Silver Medal awards from the American Culinary Federation and has held prominent culinary management roles globally. His impressive career includes positions such as Chef de Cuisine at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Lake Oconee, GA, Sea Island Company in Saint Simons Island, GA, and Loews Hotels in Orlando, FL.

He has also served as Banquet Chef at the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Orlando, FL, and held significant culinary positions at Mövenpick in Turkey, Marriott Hotels in Orlando, FL, and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL..
