Brisbane native Angus is two years younger than Thalia and plays for the Northampton Saints in Premiership Rugby. In a recent Instagram post, the pair looked happier than ever in a series of loved-up clips including one video of Thalia diffusing Angus’ hair in the mirror and another showing them locking lips on the beach. In another clip, the couple demonstrated their balancing skills by trying out the famous Dirty Dancing lift in the pool while on holiday.

A post shared by Thalia Angel Heffernan (@thaliaheffernan) Friends were delighted to see that the Dubliner had found love once again and gushed over the cute couple in the comments section. “WE HAVE GOT A HARD LAUNCH,” one pal wrote, to which Thalia replied: “full speed ahead”. Another said: “What a cute launch!” And a third chimed in: “Love seeing you happy T!” Thalia ended her six-year relationship with dancer Ryan McShane last January after meeting on Dancing With the Stars back in 2017.

They called things off after the Ranelagh model moved to New York to pursue work opportunities in the Big Apple, with Ryan confirming their breakup last summer. He has since fallen head over heels in love with Polish beauty Sylwia Matuszewska. Sylwia has brains as well as beauty as she was recently promoted in the engineering company she works for in Co Down.

“I’m really happy,” Ryan (38) told the Sunday World , as he added he wanted to “confirm” his new relationship. Speaking to Goss.ie at the time, Thalia admitted that the split was tough, but things have gotten better since she moved home from America to a shared pad with best pal Erica Cody.

“Breakups are never easy. Doing them across the continent isn’t great, but that’s what I chose to do,” she explained. “My friends all call me the Tasmanian devil because I just live in chaos.

But no, it was one of those things. I’m happy to be living with my best friend back in Dublin, in our lovely house with my dogs.”.
