” Speaking at the Amazing Thailand Press Conference held during the World Travel Market (WTM) 2024, he shared Thailand’s vision for advancing its tourism and sports sectors on a global scale. The minister outlined Thailand’s ‘Ignite Thailand’ strategy, which aims to foster sustainable growth through policies that enhance the well-being of its citizens. This strategy prioritizes policies that create a positive impact on tourists, communities, and the environment alike.
To support this goal, the government is focused on expanding infrastructure, streamlining visa processes, and building a seamless ASEAN travel network under the ‘Six Countries, One Destination’ initiative. A recent highlight is the return of British Airways flights to Thailand, emphasizing Thailand’s commitment to strengthening connectivity and accessibility for travelers worldwide. In its efforts to diversify tourist experiences, Thailand is actively promoting lesser-known yet culturally rich regions, such as Nan, Phrae, and Sakon Nakhon.
