The driver of the Tesla Cybertruck that exploded in Las Vegas has reportedly been identified as 37-year-old Matthew Livelsberger. US army veteran Livelsberger lived in Colorado Springs, where authorities have been searching after the Tesla vehicle exploded outside President-elect Donald Trump's Las Vegas hotel on Wednesday morning, leaving one dead and seven injured. According to NBC affiliate KOAA News5, senior law enforcement sources have confirmed Livelsberger was the driver.

The FBI is reportedly at a townhouse complex associated with Livelsberger, with armored vehicles and agents in tactical gear being spotted outside. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and Clark County Fire Department officials said that a person died inside the futuristic-looking pickup truck and seven people nearby suffered minor injuries.



By late Wednesday afternoon, authorities were still working to get the body out of the vehicle and start processing the evidence inside. “Our number one goal is to ensure that we have the proper identification of the subject involved in this incident,” sai.
