Teresa Mae Kosberg, of Venice, Fla., passed away peacefully on July 4, 2024, at 89 years of age. Born June 3, 1935, Teri was the daughter of the late Albert and Ellen Hall Chenot and grew up in Housatonic before moving to Great Barrington, where she spent most of her life before moving to Florida in retirement.

Teri leaves behind Irving, her beloved husband of 61 years; her sons, Jay (Jennifer) of Housatonic and Joel (Kathleen) of Westwood, Mass.; and her adoring grandchildren, David and Samuel. She is also survived by her sisters, Ellen Murtagh of Great Barrington and Albertine Atwood (Robert) of North Andover, and many nieces and nephews.

Teri dedicated many years to her work as a nurse, and in her service at the South Berkshire Infusion Center, she delighted in helping patients with their treatments while brightening their day. Teri had impeccable taste, which extended to her appreciation of beautiful jewelry and fashionable accessories as well as to her impressive culinary talents. She loved entertaining and creating wonderful dinners and desserts for both family and friends, a skill and passion which she passed on to her sons, especially her eldest son Jay.

Teri especially enjoyed chatting with friends, gift shopping for loved ones, and reading books and magazines, and she had a special fondness for dogs. Everyone who knew Teri enjoyed her candid, witty sense of humor. A memorial celebration will be announced at a later date.
