TED Lasso is likely going ahead with Season 4 on Apple TV+ and is said to be bringing back at least three core characters. Along with producers Jason Sudeikis (Ted Lasso), Brendan Hunt (Coach Beard), Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca Walton), Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent), and Jeremy Swift (Leslie Higgins), all under the UK acting union Equity, are in talks to return, despite backlash. Warner Bros.

Studio will reach out to the rest of the cast with SAG-Aftra contracts whose "options had expired," according to Deadline . The SAG actors will have to make new deals. While it is unclear who will return for Season 4, all of the cast members have expressed interest in coming back.



A source told the outlet that the actors returning for the next season is "contingent on budget approval and scheduling as actors whose options have lapsed may have joined other series that have them in first position." Co-creators/executive producers Jason Sudeikis (Ted Lasso), Brendan Hunt (Coach Beard), and Juno Temple (Keeley Jones) are also set to return. Ted Lasso ended in May 2023 after three seasons.
