People just want to be part of the experience— come hell or high water or a higher price tag. The ongoing Coldplay-BookMyShow controversy , which saw a staggering 1.3 crore people log in to the site to grab tickets for the British band’s shows, further highlights India’s growing appetite for Western music coupled with purchasing power.



The same tickets which became the reason for the controversy now cost as much as a luxury car on reselling sites like Viagogo . If Coldplay could draw such interest, imagine what Taylor Swift would do. Imagine the magnanimity, the madness and the mayhem.
