The internet thinks Taylor Swift just dropped an Easter egg about which presidential candidate she’s endorsing in the 2024 U.S. election , but it’s apparently not what they think.

On Tuesday, the pop star kicked off the speculation after she posted a carousel of photos from her recent Eras Tour shows in Warsaw, Poland. Eagle-eyed fans couldn’t help but point out that the seventh photo looks like the silhouette of Vice President Kamala Harris , who announced her running mate Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz the same day, waving behind Swift on stage.

Though a source close to the crooner told The Hollywood Reporter that the silhouette seen on stage is one of Swift’s background dancers, people on X (formerly Twitter) initially believed the pic foreshadowed her support for the Democratic nominee. Did Taylor Swift just soft launch her endorsement of Kamala Harris?!?! pic.twitter.

com/PQgdXkHXxl Taylor Swift casually dropped this photo to endorse Kamala Harris why is NO ONE talking about this 😭😭😭 #TaylorSwift #Kamala2024 #HarrisWalz2024 pic.twitter.com/VhLjKl3LjD Taylor Swift just low key endorsed Kamala Harris and MAGA is losing their minds.

pic.twitter.com/NjSpUDzILP Other X users caught wind that the silhouette belongs to one of Swift’s crew, but couldn’t help but continue discussing the uncanny resemblance to the political figure.

i know it’s a dancer/backup singer but why does it look like the silhouette of kamala harris in the background behind Taylor? 😭 pic.twitter.com/mkztjDQsB2 I know this is a dancer, but pretty funny how this looks a lot like Kamala.

And she purposely chose this photo. Just saying lol 🤷🏻♀️ I can’t believe I missed this before. But that’s because I completely focus on Taylor 😭😭 https://t.

co/Mb4Y3bQH9O It’s not a Kamala endorsement. I promise when Taylor endorses her, the entire world will know. She won’t be subtle about it.

😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/3uYu5BQ07Z HuffPost has reached out to Swift’s reps for comment.

The 14-time Grammy winner has yet to publicly declare her support for any specific party, though she did endorse then-candidate Joe Biden in 2020. Related From Our Partner.
