A fan commented below the latest video, "Love you and your teeth girl I wish I had any.
" Tana responded to the fan with "I'll buy you new ones if you need dm me." The TikTok video has since been deleted (Tana has not explained why as of yet) but on a Cancelled subreddit, a user made a thread on August 23, titled, "Tana offered to pay for this woman’s teeth I would LOVE TO SEE IT!" and posted the screenshot of the exchange. They continued saying how they hoped that Tana was "held accountable" for her offer and that it would be "messed up" for Tana "to hype her up" and not do what she offered for the woman especially since "she wasn’t exaggerating" about having no teeth.
In the thread, there was a comment claiming to be from the woman who Tana made the promise to. In the lengthy comment, the person wrote hoped the Youtube star was being "real" since she's has "zero self confidence" since the loss of her teeth. She went on with a backstory of how she ended up losing her teeth.
She began saying as a child, she didn't take care of her teeth and had "multiple cavities." She ended up breaking her front tooth on a night out with friends after falling on her face, drunk. She added that she felt her teeth were "weak from having fillings on both sides.
" She ended up getting her teeth fix from them occurrences. She then said that her life took a downward spiral and she abused Xanax prescription which led her to heroin addiction. She was able to get sober when she used suboxone maintenance and she wished she never used it since it made her teeth "worse.
" One day she was eating and her teeth filling fell out and she didn't have dental insurance at the time so she "started losing the rest of them from lack of support." The fan added she was now a server and has been wearing a mask since the COVID-19 pandemic but takes it off when it's too hot. She is scared people will judge her for being a drug addict and her tips will be affected.
She went on to say she has a child and doesn't want other kids to be cruel because of her "bad choices." She concluded with: "you have no idea how much it means to me that you’re bringing attention to this because her video was taken down and I hope I don’t get forgotten." Other fans took to the comments sending love and support to the fan as well as asking expressing anger and disappointment if Tana didn't keep her promise.
