Well folks, the weekend is here and it's capping off (heh) a pretty interesting week in the world of Nintendo. For starters, it's been a big one for the upcoming Switch successor. Many folks online thought that this would be ' the' week that Nintendo would finally reveal the new console, but alas, it wasn't to be.
Instead, we got a glimpse at what might be with a series of renders and photos of unknown origin. Are they real? Are they fake? We still don't know for sure, but we're certainly intrigued. Nintendo actually did make a fairly consequential announcement, however, but one we perhaps weren't expecting.
The firm released a statement confirming that it would file a patent lawsuit against Palworld developer Pocketpair , leading to an official response from the latter and much speculation over the potential outcome . Elsewhere, we got a couple of new Netflix trailers in the form of Castlevania: Nocturne and Devil May Cry . We also reviewed the much-anticipated The Plucky Squire , and finally the PS Vita classic Freedom Wars was confirmed to receive a remastered release on the Switch .
