Prayagraj: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) organising general secretary Milind Parande on Thursday said that the violence in Bangladesh was unfortunate and the Union govt should make sincere efforts for safety of Hindus living in Bangladesh and rescue them if they want to come to India. He also said that efforts should be made to restore peace and democracy in the neighbouring country, and all citizens should get human rights, particularly the minorities should be protected. He said that several infiltrators illegally living in India should be removed and any Hindu, Sikh, or Buddhist immigrants from neighbouring countries, who wish to come to India, should also get the citizenship.

VHP (Kashi prant) functionaries said that Hindu minority was being targeted there and it was the responsibility of the world community to take effective action for their safety.
