Believe it or not, it’s been 40 years since Prince’s first hit theaters. The movie, which is loosely based on the legendary performer’s rise to fame has become a pop culture phenomenon and gave us arguably one of the hottest soundtracks ever. Discovery Global Consumer Products and the Prince Estate have teamed up to provide fans with the ultimate experience at the home of Prince’s character, “The Kid,” in the 1984 film. A total of 25 one-night stays between October 26 and December 14 will be available for groups of up to four guests in the home which has been restored and updated with memorabilia and pieces from Prince’s personal collection. You and your guests can take a bath in a claw foot tub inspired by the “When Doves Cry” video, check out some of Prince’s iconic clothes and accessories and have sweet dreams in The Kid’s bedroom.
