Photo: Contributed Anne Janelle and James Hill bring sparkle to the Taghum Hall stage in The Midnight Clear, a seasonal concert on Sunday, December 1. As the winter winds begin to blow, Taghum Hall welcomes folks inside for theatre, music, craftiness, and more. Children aged 8 -14 years are invited to roll up their sleeves and get into the kitchen with KidsCan Bake to learn the fine art of creating deliciousness in the kitchen — and what season do we have coming up? Kids must be registered to take part in this six-week, after-school program that runs Wednesdays from 3:30 – 5:30 p.
m. beginning Nov. 6, but registration is free — the only charge is for ingredients.
Halfway There Taghum Hall is also partnering with Pat Henman Productions to present Halfway There , a play by Norm Foster in which a group of women who meet for coffee every day (and know everybody’s business) catch wind of a new arrival in Sean, a heartbroken doctor, and he’s about to tip the town off its axis. Starring Lindsay Clague, Robyn Lamb, Sydney Black, Avi Phillips, and Pat Henman — who is also co-director with Eva Myers-McKimm — this play will have you "laughing 'til your sides ache and crying 'til your heart breaks," according to one reviewer. Performances are Nov.
