A project engineer sent an email soon after the Town Council meeting to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to withdraw that application, according to publicly available records. The Army Corps has not responded to a request to confirm that application was withdrawn as well. However, the project no longer appears on a map or in a database on the Army Corps website.
