Monday, October 7, 2024 Swiipr , a leading payment platform driving digital disruption in airline payment systems, has appointed Kirk Nagy as its new Vice President of Sales for the Americas. Based in Florida, Nagy brings over 30 years of experience in SaaS and data solutions, specializing in airlines, ground handling companies, and airports. Prior to joining Swiipr, he worked at Cirium, where he led enterprise business development across North America.
In this role, Nagy played a key part in launching Cirium’s flagship data platform, which supported the digital transformation efforts of tier 1 and tier 2 airlines in the Americas. Nagy’s extensive experience also includes managing sales and account teams in the Americas, implementing SaaS solutions for airline network planning and revenue management, and overseeing responses to irregular operations. He has held several prominent roles throughout his career, including Regional Vice President and Head of Alliances, Partnerships, and Resellers at Travelport, Commercial Director and Regional Vice President at Worldspan, and Commercial Director at American Airlines.
