Susan J. (Stocks) Andrew November 27, 1963 - September 14, 2024 WEBSTER CITY - Susan J. (Stocks) Andrew, Webster City, IA, died Saturday, Sept.

14, 2024, at Van Diest Medical Center. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at 2 p.m.



, Saturday, Oct.5, 2024, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 1000 Willson Ave., Webster City, IA, Pastor Craig Blaufuss, officiant.

Visitation will be prior to the ceremony from 1-1:45 p.m. There will be a reception at the church following the ceremony.

Susan was born Nov. 27, 1963, in Mason City, IA, to Arthur F. and Jean Stocks.

She graduated from Mason City High School in 1982, and from the University of Iowa in 1986, with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Journalism.

She worked in the newspaper and magazine publishing industry before moving into health education and human resources positions. She married Rodney Leman in October 1994, and the couple had two children: Lauren and Jackson. The couple later divorced.

She married Dr. Mark Andrew on Sept. 14, 2019.

She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Chi Omega sorority, P.E.O.

, AAUW, Webster City Community Theatre, Webster City Community Chorus, was a substitute teacher and spent many years as a speech contest judge for the IHSSA. She enjoyed music and theater, nature, walking, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Her faith was strong, and her love of the arts sustained her soul.

Her greatest joy in life was being a mom to Lauren and Jackson. She is survived by her husband, Mark, Webster City; daughter, Lauren Leman, Cedar Falls; son, Jackson, St. Joseph, MO; sister and husband, Sarah and John Seelke, Dunwoody, GA; niece, Caroline Seelke, Dunwoody, GA; nephew, Charlie Seelke, Dunwoody, GA; stepchildren: Nate and Jessica Graney, Mt.

Horeb, WI; Brian and Ashley Andrew, Wausau, WI; Dr. Ben Andrew and Courtney Castelic -Andrew, De Pere, WI; grandchildren, Thea and Skylar Andrew, Adalyn Graney and Charles Castelic; and treasured cousins. Susan is preceded in death by her father, Art; mother, Jean; grandparents, Earl and Margaret McClurg, Maryville, MO and Dr.

Walter and Nina Stocks, Nashua, IA; aunt, Jeanett Stocks, Nashua, IA; uncle and aunt, Lloyd and Wanda Lee McClurg, Maryville, MO; uncle and aunt Leland and Letha Jackson, Kansas City, MO; and uncle and aunt, Tommy and Cleta Salyers, Malvern, IA; and cousin Roger Salyers, Malvern, IA. To know Susan was to love Susan! She will be remembered for her zest for life, her beauty, and her never-ending quick wit and ability to make us all laugh. She had the gift of making everyone feel special and loved.

like a comet pulled from orbit...

" Susan came into our lives, to love us and help us grow. Because we knew Susan, we have been changed for good. We will miss her every day.
