Surprising body part that may reveal a man's penis size, according to a doctor READ MORE: The way you CAN tell a man's penis size by looking at his hands By Luke Andrews Senior Health Reporter For Dailymail.Com Published: 17:06, 19 August 2024 | Updated: 17:10, 19 August 2024 e-mail View comments You know what they say about men with big hands and feet..

. Not a lot, according to a sexual health expert, who says you should be looking at men's noses instead if you want a better idea of the size of their penises. Dr Rena Malik, a urologist in California , said on a podcast recently there is some convincing evidence that men who have bigger noses also have bigger members.

She also highlighted how young men's penises are more than an inch longer today than they were just three decades ago. Dr Rena Malik, a urologist in California, said that the size of a man's nose could predict his penis size Speaking on the Diary of a CEO podcast, the expert at the VA Medical Center said: 'There's one study, it's a Japanese study, where they looked at only Japanese men, so there are some limitations — but essentially they measured all these body parts and penile length. 'And what they found was that nose length was correlated with penile length, not hand length or foot length.

' She was likely referring to a 2021 study published in Basic and Clinical Andrology which involved 126 men aged 30 to 50 years old. It found that nose size was more closely correlated with stretched penile length than height or body weight in the group surveyed. Other studies have also backed up the assertion, including a 2023 study from China involving 420 men aged 20 to 56 years old.

This also found that erect penile length was more closely correlated to nose size than ear or testicle size. The other methods of looking at hands and feet have not stood up to scrutiny in scientific studies, with researchers instead suggesting that the length of a man's index finger — or first finger — can indicate penis size. Dr David Shafer estimated he performs between four to five Shafer Width and Girth (SWAG) procedures daily at times at his clinic Dr Malik added during the podcast : 'While we've seen sperm quality change over the last 50 years, we have also seen penile length change.

'And they've actually seen that penile length is increasing, and they think that this is because the onset of puberty is changing and boys are getting exposed to factors that are making them go through puberty earlier. 'And, hence, they are getting more exposure to testosterone and developing longer penises, so that's a sort of interesting theoretical thing.' Read More Inside the clinic where men get their genitals plumped for $15,000 A 2023 study from Stanford University which analyzed data on the penises of 55,700 men from 1942 to 2021 found a surge in length over the last three decades.

The meta-analysis found the average erect penis jumped 25 percent in length from 1992 to 2021 — from 4.8 to 6 inches. Although many may see this as good news, the researchers warned the sudden shift was 'concerning' and suggested 'something powerful is happening to our bodies'.

They suggested the surge could be due to chemicals from pesticides and hygiene products interacting with the body's hormones. About 55 percent of men are thought to be dissatisfied with their penis lengths, according to surveys. But, for comparison, surveys show the majority of partners consider their partner to have the ideal penis length.
