Barbara Pierce Bush has welcomed her second child, a son named Edward Finn. In a post on social media, TODAY co-host and Barbara's fraternal twin sister Jenna Bush Hager announced the arrival of the little boy. "My sissy had a little mister and I fell madly in love with Edward Finn! ❤️💗👼" she of herself holding the baby and hanging out with her sister in the hospital.

Edward Finn is Barbara's and her husband Craig Coyne's second child. In the first photo Jenna shared, little Edward appears to be wearing a hat from NYU Langone Health, a hospital in New York City's Gramercy Park. Coyne and Barbara previously welcomed their first child, Cora Georgia Coyne, in September 2021.



She was born in Portland, Maine, at , which was named after Jenna and Barbara's late grandmother and former first lady. At the time, their father, former President George W. Bush, announced the baby’s birth in a post he shared on .

"With full hearts, and I are delighted to announce the birth of our new granddaughter," he posted on Oct. 2, 2021. "Barbara gave birth to Cora Georgia Coyne on September 27, 2021, in Maine — not far from our family home where Barbara and Craig were married.

Cora is healthy and adorable, and we are proud and grateful." Soon after, Jenna also posted her first tribute to her only niece. "Today is the day I got to meet my most beautiful, precious, feisty, niece (a bit earlier than we expected!)" she captioned a slideshow of pictures.

"I witnessed in awe as my dearest, toughest became a mama. And today is the day I fell in love! Some cousins are anxiously waiting to play with you, but not just yet love. Xx auntie j" Later, on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna, Jenna revealed that she found out her twin was in labor with Cora via text and immediately burst into tears.

“I woke up to a text message on Monday morning,” she said. “I burst into tears, I was frantic, I woke up (husband) Henry (Hager). He was like, ‘What?’ I’m like, ‘She’s in labor!’” Cora and Edward will have three built-in friends with their cousins, : Mila, 11; Poppy, 9; and Hal, 5.
