Supermodel Georgina Cooper died following a sudden change in health while she was on holiday in Greece. The model was a friend of star Kate Moss and a part of the 'cool Brittania' movement of the 1990s and was just 46 when she passed away. Georgina had recently swapped vows with her husband Nigel - with the couple getting married at a ceremony that took place this year in June.
On Friday it was revealed that Georgina and Nigel had been staying on the Greek island of Kos at the Marianna hotel apartments when she suddenly fell ill. Her health declined on 21 October and she was rushed to the island's main hospital where her condition was determined to be so severe that she needed to be flown by air ambulance to a better equipped hospital on Crete. After five days of medical teams battling to save her, the model tragically passed away and her body was returned to the UK this week.
