Today looks like a beautiful summer day across the region, with plenty of sunshine and light winds while temperatures get up to near 80° for most this afternoon. Through the evening, a few more clouds will move on in, but overnight lows only dip to around 60°. Tomorrow will start off with another gorgeous day, temperatures stay in the upper 70s with a few more clouds early on throughout the day.
However, a low pressure system moving into central Minnesota will look to throw a wrench into the evening plans. Showers will stay scattered in the afternoon, then continuing to build up throughout the evening with rain likely off and on through the night. Thursday sees thunderstorms developing throughout the region, with rain looking likely during the afternoon, and temperatures staying in the upper 70s.
Then through the end of the week, chances of showers will continue on Friday, before the system eventually moves on out of the region, giving way to a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the 70s for the weekend. ADVERTISEMENT.
