Today looks to be a sunny and dry day across southeast Minnesota, with winds staying rather light. High temperatures this afternoon warm up towards 80° with calm winds for much of the afternoon and a beautiful day to wrap up the week. Heading into the weekend, we stay warm again on Saturday, with temperatures getting up into the mid-80s once again for another warm day, with winds out of the southwest.

However, as we head on into the late afternoon and evening, we are tracking a cold front sliding on through Minnesota, which will bring another chance for a few thunderstorms across the region Saturday evening. Then through the end of the weekend, we take a turn for the cloudier and more seasonable, with temperatures topping out in the mid-60s with a northwest wind by Sunday. Then heading throughout next week, we gradually see sunnier days, with a slow return to the low 70s throughout the week.
